Wow, I don’t come on the Forum for literally 2 weeks in 5 years and it blows T F UP overnight!

I know I’ve had differences of opinion on here with a few people but a massive congrats to whoever does well off the back of this news!

People just don’t understand how much work goes into domaining and I know for a fact that everyone who holds decent Meta/Metaverse/MV domains are well deserving!

I wonder if facebook can force their TM for 'meta', probably a higher chance to get a TM for meta.com, like booking.com did...at a quick search there are TM's for 'meta' in gaming industry, machine learning, AR headsets and many more, TM's at least a few years old and there are at least a few tens of TM'S for the word 'meta' and a few hundreds for 'meta+keyword', so if facebook wants to get involved in lot's of areas of metaverse, they will be forced to get TM's for something more particular, like meta.com or meta+infinity sign

I don't think that 28 october matter, what about facebook infringing with 'meta' others TM's like AR headsets, gaming, machine learning? Do you think that they will not be involved in gaming in their metaverse? They will not use headsets? I think that they will choose a particular sign+meta, because it's to general, it's like google's alphabet.
