This is a message I sent to Directi.com and the reply I received

“Hi Guys,

“Hello Jeff,

Thanks for the feedback. Its really not been a good time for us. We have been
more pre occupied trying to resolve the issues rather than concentrate on good /
bad publicity.

We assure you we won't let our customers / resellers down.

Regards,

Lets give the guys a chance they know the problem they have. :gl:

Not good enough. They should be sending out regular emails to everyone who pre-registered with them to keep apprised of their situation. We are the one's who have paid them money, so they should be professional about it and proactively keep us informed. Too many user are complaining about being left in the dark, and I am one of them. I am certain that this lack of communication will hurt their business in the long run. On the other hand, registrars like dd24 will do very well moving forward, IMO.

It's almost as though the Directi management don't really understand the medium they are working in, where--in a flash--bad reviews and customer complaints about a company can travel around the world and snowball into a PR wrecking machine.
