I only recently started parking this site on Sedo, and it is generating an EPC of around $6 with a few clicks a day. It's sitting at an RPM of $3,300. I'm not sure how long that will hold as its only been a week, but I have been attempting to get some direct traffic by visiting mesothelioma boards and using an image with watermark to get people to type into the domain. It seems to be working and the numbers increase day by day. Yesterday this site generated about $21 for me. While this is all fine and dandy, I need immediate income.

How much do you think something like this can sell for and what auction site has the highest likelihood of getting a decent offer for a domain like this? I'm also not interested in cold calling lawyers in an effort to sell to an end user, but it appears these guys have zero issue spending boatloads of money.

I typed "top 100 most expensive keywords" into Google, and the very first search result mentioned that "best methothelioma lawyer" is the #1 most expensive keyword in the world. So my domain is actually decently close to being one of the highest EPC domains in the world, I think that's pretty cool.

Damn, I'm just surprised that you're making that kind of cash money from SEDO, and it didn't involve selling the domain.

Truthfully, if you're generating that sort of income by parking that domain on SEDO, over the course of a year it'll give you more money than the name itself is worth if you sold it straight up.

What do you mean you visit Mesothelioma boards and use an image with a watermark to get people to type into the domain? Do you go to forums where people suffering, directly or indirectly, from mesothelioma are going for support, information, and hope? :meh:

We did some mesothelioma development around 2005, only problem if you look at the legal industry as a whole, it's so tiny in terms of search traffic that there's just no 'big money' to be compared to other more popular terms in law.

Yes, it's a high value cpc term but no major search traffic and very few potential lawyers that do these cases, plus the big case was done already, so now the victims are just getting paid from a fund.

Meso cpc used be like 200 bucks the next best legal term injury lawyer and car accident lawyer

cpc is 100 in most cities

it's why we have huge development on those terms, we put law firms on our portals and instantly take over the #1 spots in their market for these big money terms.

even if you had a meso client, the money spent in usa daily by lawyers on the term is nothing compared to PIA terms

I want 33% of lots of PIA clients
I don't need 33% of almost nothing from meso

In other words, meso buyers can't buy clicks since not much in way of meso of search term traffic

Injury lawyers can spend 25K a month in a small market and 250K in a major market
we had a prefix meso term around 2005 and we dropped it and focused on high traffic legal terms that are also high cpc terms, not as high as meso, but way more money in total volume of budgets

good name, goog luck

negatives
triple word
not much traffic
legal industry and if you don't deal with lawyers a lot you got almost no chance of selling to them

It's funny you say that because I actually purchased about 6 PIA sites (denveraccidentlawyer.com) and this single Meso site, and this one is generating a higher RPM. I haven't developed them at all yet. With that said I guess I'll just sit on the revenue stream, it's still making money.

Oh please don't play the PC Warrior card on me. the image is in my signature and if someone wants to type it, they know exactly what they are getting because it has "lawsuit lawyers" in the url. I never tell anyone to visit, and I don't link to it, I know both are an easy way to get banned.

Wow. This is inspiring. I have been developing web sites on web hosting and loans niches as an affiliate. I hated Adsense because of low paying CPC. Never touched law and insurance fields though.

nice trick! with the profile photo as your "Banner". question is. that's a pretty long domain at three words and not short words either! lol how'd you manage sticking all that in a similar profile photo like here on NP?

either way nice job! will use in the future.

For the banner, I'm not sure if I can post images here or not, you can see what it looks like by going to

Honestly this type of thing can be used on most domains that you have parked if you are looking to bring in traffic without breaking the parking site's rules.

I was really hoping I could flip it, I'm in massive debt at the moment and the APR is negating any parking revenue I'm getting, I need to sell asap.

The only reason I know anything about this field is because my day job is as a PPC account manager for an agency with like 80 accounts, some of which were lawyers and rehabs with ridiculous CPC. I'll take the advise given and try to strike a nice balance of EPC vs traffic. Thanks guys!
