trademark problems, you wont get anything from mercedes, and if you contact them you are likely to recieve a letter from their legal department.

Yes but it takes away from it's value. A company I work for uses the term mercedes in the domain name and showcase many mercedes vehicles... we have had no problems yet.

But as far as trying to make money off it... it will prove more difficult.

You can use Trademarked terms as long as you're not using them to:

1. Trash the company which has the name trademarked
2. Use the domain for "domain squatting"
3. .... I don't remember....

Technically if you bought this domain just to sell to mercedes for a high price, that is "domain squatting" and violates the trademark. But I dunno, im still a noob.

Lasvegas, your company probably wouldn't have any problem at all as it's most likely a licenced dealer, also because by you selling the cars you make money for mercedes. So all good there.
