I think the whole Member Of The Month process needs some tweaking. It doesn't seem to be high profile enough. It's hard to find out who has been nominated, etc.

I think we need to make it more visible. Maybe those that have been nominated have some kind of "sign" by their name or something.

Or better yet, if we really want this to take off, maybe MOTM has its own forum. That would make it more visible and easier to keep track of.

It seems like it is dying a slow death and we are only into month #3. Does it seem like that to you folks?

Just thought I would throw this out to the masses. Let's get some more members nominated, God knows we have plenty of worthy candidates!

They do get those MOTM medals a few lines below their handle. See previous MOTM winners .edu and ManicGirl and check out their cool medals.

I didn't realise we were both CGs
Cool! But again it's a really good idea. If we were to ask a member that registered 5 days ago if he knew anything about this he probably wouldn't.

I forget to vote last month because I didn't see the link somewhere ! The motm vote is to hard to find currently...

Perhaps at least a link on the front page like the "Domain Name Value Estimator" link could be useful.. and the link could be bold when the vote opens.

There are lots of 'hidden' features on NPs which have no links to them - most of the older members remember them, but we need to have some higher profile links to things such as:-

plus a few more that I can't remember just now.

Lets get these links up there and available to all guys.

I think a nice tweak to the MOTH system to get more people involved would be to perhaps have Endorsed (Nominated by one person and Endorsed by another) canidates listed in a Poll, and then members vote on them. The amount of endorsements could be listed next to their names.

Another suggestion:

The Member Of The Month winner gets recognized and "rewarded"...how about the member that nominates the winning MOTM.

A small token of appreciation (ie 100NP$ or something). This may generate more interest.
