I've seen over time, developed medical domains that are targeted topics, which these are, and are being sponsored by major pharmaceudical, medical supply, or other companies. I'm not sure what they would be paying to advertise there though. It's probably nice especially as the volume increases through promotion and web surfers who find it via search engines because they now do their own medical research pertinent to their afflictions.
Another idea:
Redirect the domain to or have a link off of the page to a medical center's department, doctor's medical practice, hospital department, or other to drive more traffic to them if they market the name properly (Internet, print, TV, radio, etc.). It could become quite lucrative to them for attracting new patients, physicians, or Web visitors in general, especially in the many highly-competitive health markets these domains are relevant to. Read blogs, etc. and you'll see that the medical community is looking for ways to improve their marketing. (Note: the owner can possibly have a given medical entity pay them to 'use' the domain for a period of time (lease) especially in the case of redirection which the owner could change to a new lessee quite easily.)
You may want to reference the DNJournal 2005 list onward (2006-2008 year-to-date) through and including current DNJournal sales for offer ideas.
Good Luck!
