.tv me.tv major problems

I registered server.tv yesterday and today I registered degree.tv as they were both available according to the me.tv website. I have access to both names via the control panel (channel set up), but now they say they are not available and I have not been billed for these in my account. (although I still have control of them via the channel page itself.

It seems to me that they were available otherwise it would not have let me into the channel area to put in my own blog etc. I have had some glitches in the past using their interface, but if the name was not available by the time of checkout it would not let me proceed.
Ive been able to send emails to friends and business associates from the actual channel itself. I have even accepted friends into my links area.

I think they have pulled them after registration as they are great names.
what do I do and what recourse do I have? Im not sure what to do about them.

I don't think they were available in the first place. It is good to check with more than one registrar for availability. This is a common problem

The usual glitch is, it shows a domain name to be available and then when you get to checkout, it says error or transaction cannot be complete... this is a little different as It says:

I had the same with server.tv (above).

I have had my web team start building the site already for server.tv as it is a fantastic name. They have already been working on it all morning and now Im not sure what to do.

If any of the me.tv guys are here, please let me know your thoughts.

You probably will be refunded. Not sure about me.tv but I once saw Poker.de available with Godaddy. regged it but was later refunded because it was not available to begin with. But if you feel you were done wrong, you should call them

It says I havent been billed, but ??? I dont know.

I am now having problems with 2 other names that are available on all domain reg sites.

i have registered these names twice now on me.tv and no confirmation came through, so I reregsitered them at enom.tv and they are still not in my account yet. edit: they are now in my account! not sure why it took 7 hours though.

This is getting a little ridiculous. I will go back to godaddy and pay the extra $. Time is money to me and Im getting sick of this.

I understand things happen, but this is ridiculous.

if a registration fails, me.tv shows it on your channel sites, but urls are not what you tried to register, they are just subdomains of me.tv, server-tv.me.tv

if it is your first time that you are using enom/me .tv
they dont authorize your credit card unless you send papers by fax
that is why it happens

Im not sure if I follow you.
I registered domain names not sub domain names?
Of the 53 names I have registered with me.tv I have never had to send a fax to authorize my payment. I registered theunitedstates.tv for example, and that is a domain name not a sub domain and it is online (parked), with a proper url. I realise they hang in limbo for a day or so until "the url kicks in" properly as all mine did at first
If your telling me I dont own any of the 53 names I purchased and that they are only "sub domains", Im not going to be happy.

please explain a little easier.

I have registered a LOT of names and never had to send any papers by fax at all. Just put in my credit card and it worked.

if theses ( server-tv.me.tv | degree-tv.me.tv) are the url's of the sites
they also look like subdomains to me. :/

Yes all the .me sites start of like that... anything you register with them, the site comes up like that until the "domain is prepared" to go online.... you dont go into the site and try and register an extension how its written in the link, this is what they give you for a few hours until the dns server stuff is configured - I think anyway as all my others started like this as well...

Im still none the wiser.

I actually did try to call, but I couldnt get through. That could be from where I am as sometimes it is a little difficult.

I emailed the link to this thread as I couldnt be bothered rewriting it. Im sure they will reply here soon.

is this the only site your team is working on? i'd suggest you have them work on something else until it gets sorted out. what other sites has your team developed .. i see you've gotten a bunch of .tvs recently.

Same thing happened to me 2 days ago. I went through the whole proccess and got a confirmation email only to find out that I wasn't billed because it wasn't available. It showed available when I searched for it, very strange. I also was able to set up channels etc. I called them and they said it's a glitch. It's a pretty big glitch IMO. Anyway I completely feel your frustration.
