.me .me domain need some info

Can the .me domain be used for anything?
For example like a dating site or friendship site.

The only difference between .me and .com is that .me is a country code top level domain.

There are quite a few dating sites on .me already for example "You and .me" which is owned by a member here
Quite a few startup have been using .me as keywords and brandables are either available to reg or cheaper to buy on the reseller market than .com.net.org etc

Google also can treat .me as a generic tld like .com/net/org instead of a pure cctld. This action has also been applied to .tv and apparently .co
