If you’re a fan of golf, you probably spent at least some time the last few days watching the 2016 Masters golf tournament in Augusta, Georgia. If you watched the last few holes during the final round on Sunday, you saw Danny Willett win the Masters.

Interestingly, Danny Willett uses a .Golf domain name for his professional website: DannyWillett.golf

A great endorsement for the .golf gTLD

When you have such a rich keyword TLD that literally defines the Industry you can quickly acquire the support of those within that Industry.

We can see this happening other TLDs like .domains which has being quickly adapted by domainers.

Specialized TLDs like .accountant .club .news .media .berlin should also attract top players.

The more sites like this that start using new TLD's is what's needed to spread the word that new ones exist despite what they are.

A professional golfer uses .golf? *gasp* Not sure who else a .golf name if not a professional golfer. But yes, seems a good example of adaption of nGTLDs.

not a great deal of interest in this post but this is big news.
just put his name in google and there it is, must get lots of traffic .

soon i can see his website address on sports equipment he promotes.
and i will be saying to golf stores when i promote my .golf for sale if its good enough for him why you not got one.
