It seems the most obvious thing in the world.... logical, prudent etc...

But.... unless the dotcom owner is just a one-man business, you stand a good chance of digging your own grave regarding UDRP / WIPO because as soon as you have physically offered the name for sale you are guilty as charged (which in my humble opinion is a travesty for any generic type domain where the name isn't an obvious breach of trademark).

small businesss probbaly wouldnt tAKE YOU TO WIPO THOUGH IMO
