It's a nice name in Spanish - but to be honest, I feel a bit disappointed and cheated by the thread title. I had a great .US appraisal ready to write for the English version when I clicked, but it's just not the same anymore. The thrill is gone... bummer...

Map'as could be used not only in spanish language, Lithuanian gamers are used to call maps of pc games as "map'as" (singular) or "map'ai" (plural). Also "Gun'as" would sound lithuanian, etc (even though it's not regular). But I don't think it's good idea to use non-english words for .us domains.

Had no idea about the Lituanian version, however IMHO I think that American maps would be of great interest to hispanics since we are neighbors.

I would think that around 10% of the us are Spanish/ spanish speakers, gives you and audience of 20 mill plus, add the Lithuanians and you have a web property that could go low to mid $xxx.

I also agree that the title is misleading and should be changed.
