Making phpBB Safe

Any tips to make phpBB safe or at least more safe than it is.
This is for a new site that would attract un-wanted crackers and hackers.

always backup and get the latest version of phpBB

or maybe just wait for the release of phpbb 3

Keep ur website up2date and check phpbb website often for news and updates..

Make a backup after every week..

I'll think I will backup every other week as it will attract hackers and crackers big time and I mean big time! I will also use a hosting account diffrent to my other sites to make sure that the hackers/crackers won't find the other stuff aswell as changing my password every day or when I can get to it.

Any other tips??

Why every 2 weeks? Setup a cron job for nightly sql backup.
Also there is a mod for extra security.

Just make sure you have a back-up, and every chance you get check the official phpbb forums.
