I think its quite nice - with one exception. The two half naked men make it look to me like some kind of gay mens site.

Haha! They are probably two of the most famous magicians in the world right now! If you came across this site with a Google search you would know who they are because you were searching for magic so you would know it wasn't a gay porn site haha! Thanks for the review though!

I would make the 2 side bars match in height.. and maybe a background...even if its just a light gray or somthing..

I believe you have that there for SEO reasons? If so, just position somewhere else. It looks tacky where it is located right now.
