Magento System Upgrade, script editing and improvement

Hi,

I need the following to be done.

1) Ensure the smooth transaction of the site upgrade to the latest 1.4.x version of magento

2) upgrade some script and integrate facebook group/status to the site theme

3) ensure the theme does not spoilt when it's update.

4) graphic changes, and also to ensure that site is clean/optimise.

Job Range : $15 , paypal

Good coder/Developer will clench a job contract for develop and work with us on the site.
we will pay you even on for contract or job-month basis

Yes, Magento is quite difficult and tricky to work with, plus every time they do an upgrade something crashes in it.
Magento is a very "buggy" script to say the least.

We can upgrade to $20 for this.

However the bottom line is we are planning to engage a long term developer, perhaps a skilled indian coder to assist us in the long run.

the remuneration will be better than $20 for this case.

magento is a system that we are using at the moment.
it's not easy for us change to another platoform overnight , carrying that same theme and same database migration (thought it's possible)

there only choice we have is to optimise magento in the short run and attempt to develop our sites subsequently with other platform
