Mageneto commerce

Has anyone used this commerce software?

I asked a coder to recode my template into zencart and he said to take a look at this one and recomended it.

I have never heard of it but then again I dont go looking for any new commerce software.

I have gotten as far as installing it on a site and looked at setup and configuration. Like all shopping carts there is a significant learning curve and I have a way to go before I could use it for real. That said it seems to be actively supported and have some nice features.

The most significant complaint I have seen is that it has had some issues with response time when you have more (3,000+ ? items).

lol I would be lucky to ever have over 100 items.

I would have liked their demo to have some fake orders so I could see how everything looked but I plan to install it on the side on my current server and see how it goes, but if anyone else has any experiences with mageneto commerce please do share.


Noticed I was demoing the commercial one, had a look at their prices for the non-free commercial one :O

Just been playing with the Free one and it looks and functions great.
