Anyone doing anything with domains related to the Bernie Madoff scandal? It is one of the biggest financial scandals in history and will be front and center in the news for years to come.

Over at eBay BernieMadoff.com is on sale for $10,000.

But be careful with domains related to Madoff. There are a ton of pissed off super rich folks who lost fortunes with Madoff, and loads of high priced lawyers attacking anything related to Madoff. So be careful.

I doubt it will sell for $10K.
If it does sell, buyer is FOOL.
In best case, traffic it gets would be short term.

15 Minutes of fame and soon to be distinguished. These spotlight domains never really seem to hold much attention especially when the news find something better to cover and that usually doesn't take long at all.

This isn't Elliot Spitzer using NY funds on prostitutes, this is $50,000,000,000.00... very well could become the next "Ponzi" when it comes to accepted terms for financial swindling. While $10k may be overpriced (Not my domain, just to be clear.), I do not think this will be a typical "flash in the pan" news story.
