FREE Made a free tool to stop the tab-switching madness (and how I'm paying for it)

Erik here. My workflow for checking domains was a total mess—GoDaddy in one tab, Sedo in another, an appraisal tool in a third... it was driving me nuts.

So I built a fix for myself. It's a simple Chrome extension that lets you appraise any domain right on the page you're on.

I'm not gonna hit you with a sales pitch. I'm just a solo dev trying to build something useful, and figured if it helps me, it might help some of you too. That's why it's 100% free.

Just a quick heads-up on the costs:

I want to be super transparent with you all. Every time you run an appraisal, it makes an API call that costs me a little bit of money. So technically, the more you use it, the more I lose...

I'm comfortable financially and definitely don't need your hard-earned money. But if you get value from the tool and want to help keep it free and alive for everyone, I added a "Buy Me a Coffee" button inside. Zero pressure at all, I'm just happy to be building something for the community.

Would love for you guys to try it out and give me some real, honest feedback.

If you don't want to get sued by Monday you should drop that domain and move your business to something that isn't infringing on a brand that I've built over the last 10+ years.

domainIQ is a trademarked term and a recognized brand in the domain industry. Your domain infringes on the domainIQ mark and creates confusion for people that might think you are associated with domainIQ Corp. which operates domainIQ.com. YOU ARE NOT!

If you do not immediately cease using the domainIQ brand name you will be sued. It's that simple.
