I have a friend who was born in Macau. The friend of mine said, the only thriving business in Macau is the gambling casino business, tourists go there and they only spend like less than a week on their fun tours (most probably within 3 days of gambling fun).

Most doctors and dentist, quit their jobs, university students quit school to work in casino because there's not many jobs and demand for a small island. And because the casino pays well too.

Therefore, as I see it. Macau is not for the typical chinese, its for the wealthy tourist. These tourist probably do not look for homes or apartment.

Not worth registration fees.
