If you own Macau names, what is your opinion as to value for these?. I am wanting to pick a couple and place into Sedo auction. I am not looking for end user prices at the moment. I am wondering what is a fair price to developers or resellers if placed into Sedo auction.

Yes, good point. I do know they have poker, I think it is controlled by Stanley Ho, and he decides what casinos can offer it. I can hold the names, or I am thinking others may see the names as a great investment.

Dot, I was surprised by all the bidding on another one of my Macau names that just sold two weeks ago in Sedo. The name was macaupoker.tv. The bid started at $120. and ended $601. I guess many see macau poker names as a good investment.

With all the American investment in Macau gambling, including Donald Trump now building six casinos, I think more pressure will open up Macau to the western love of the poker game in Macau, yee haw!

I vaguely recall seeing ads for paradisepoker.de and partypoker.de while traveling through the area.

I believe it's been illegal in 2 states for a long time, but around the end of last year it became illegal in all 16 states.

Denic have been known to de-register domains which contain online gambling related material. However the two examples you provide, are just redirects, so obviously this is allowed and maybe poker.de does have some value as a redirect.

I think owning poker names in German can prove to be a good investment. A person can have re- directs, or a web site like a blog. Also because the name is macaupoker de not mean it has to have gambling on it. The name very well can be used as a travel site to get visitors to travel to macau.

I was just doing some research and was surprised to find that the people of Australia are flocking to Macau. Macau is not just a gambling mecca. It is rich with history and is a very good tourist destination point to travel.

Also it was just announced that Playboy is building a posh Playboy Club in the developement at the very launching place at the point of the bridge connecting mainland China to Macau.

Big corporations are in the Macau entertainment business and that includes all types of entertainment. Donald Trump is building six casinos in Macau as we speak.

You cannot reg Macau poker names anymore folks, they are all taken. Any strong keyword for Macau and poker is taken. Macaupoker.de may not be able to be used to its fullest potential today, but it can be used and in the future the name will only gain in value.

Actually Macau poker names are going to be gold. It will only take the marketing people a short time to blitz their campaigns and the world will be onboard. Macau is a money making machine in the gambling world, every casino entertainment investor wants in.
