Established LyricsLurker.com - Album Art - 140,000 lyrics

Hello,

I am selling www.LyricsLurker.com. It provides song lyrics from artists from 311 to Zebrahead. All the songs are categorized by album with album art (if applicable, more on that below). I personally wrote the entire site in PHP (with a MySQL backend) and uses Apache (mod rewrite) for search engine friendly URLS

Heres an example of the SEO friendly URLS:

songs/rage_against_the_machine

instead of

songs.php?id=rage against the machine

LyricsLurker.com has 146,224 lyrics from from 14,478 albums by 4,146 artists

For the album art, I wrote a script that will go through the database, then searches for that album on amazon, then return the album art link. This function works with probably 70% success (some albums arent on amazon etc). I will include this script with the site, but you may not resell it or distribute it in any way.

The domain is registered at godaddy.com for 1 year for a free push to the new owner.

Traffic is negligible at this point, around 15 uniques a day. I am selling because I am good at programming, but am terrible at promoting sites.

I may be wrong, but I have not heard about lyrics sites shutting down. I do know that guitar tabs sites shut down. I searched lyrics and saw several sites w/ no mention of shutting down.

im interested, but im curious as to how adding the lyrics work.

when someone hits 'add lyrics' and its sent to an email, what then? do i have to add manually? is there a sorta news-post function?
