Hey guys,

I'm pretty worried.

A number of my websites seem to have a very low ranking on the new Google caffeine compared to the old Google.

Additionally, others are not showing up at all!

Does anyone know what needs to be done to fix this?

Any news on SEO for Google caffeine?

Thanks!

Old results USA server?

Note that caffeine search results are only targeting US search. So if your websites were ranked well but at non-USA datacenters that might be part of the problem. Make you check your results against existing USA datacenter results.

Thanks for your response.

The one domain I'm particularly worried about is a domain name tied to a brick and mortar business based in the US.

It was ranking and still is about 6 in the old Google.

All of my sites are now also ranking lower than what they are ranking right now in google.com :(

This major Google update is not good for many of my sites too.

It seems that most of the people who've been ranking at the top have now lost their ranks and are ranking lower in the new search results. But one thing is quite interesting and nobody is mentioning it here that the number of people who've lost their rankings are almost equal to the number of the people who've gained something out of it.

This could indicate that Google feels searches want to most recent (and relevant) results rather than older information.
