? what is it, and why would a job advertised in my local paper be asking for someone with web design experience to have lotus notes experience too?

What does it do and is it easy to lear? I have an interview this afternoon and was hoping for any input you may have, thanks!

Lotus notes is an email program like Outlook. You can read and send email with it. It has a calendar and contact list. I only know this because my dad uses it at work.
