Hi,

I am owner of a company(Based out of California, USA) and same in (India). I brought a domain xyz.com from Godaddy in 2012, and was making all payments for it since then. On Jan 24, 2019 - I got an email from Godaddy that my account settings were changed and if I haven't done so, call them immediately. I called the number provided in the message, and talked to support person.

Support person asked me to file a complaint online and I did so. After 2 weeks, go-daddy said they cant do anything since i am not the current registrant - I told them it was changed without my consent but no answer.

I have all relevant proofs for everything. My website is now changed to point to different company, and I am losing all my business and existing customers. Please help immediately on this

You would have to work with the legal department and prove that the domain is yours and that this was not authorized by you. Something from January may be hard to work with at this point but it is still worth pursuing. You can email [email protected]. If they cannot help you, you will need to contact an attorney.

Yes, I emailed undo, multiple times but with no luck. I already provided all email receipts to godaddy but they didn’t do anything.

I am trying since Jan 2019. In regards to attorney, I need to be in US to get it back but because of my visa issues I can’t be back for few more months.

Appreciate if there is any other way

I dont think you need to be in the US. You only need a court of competent jurisdiction. So asking a local attorney about that would help.

I am not an attorney so I am not going to give you legal advice. I think that would work but you should certainly consult a local attorney to know for sure.
