Sometimes, when I do a trademark search, I will see marks come up that are well over 100 words long. These trademarks contain many different terms all strung together, such as Business Accounting Finance Services Customer Relations, etc...

What is the purpose of a company registering such a trademark?
How can they even be allowed to register such a mark?
Might they try to come after a domain owner who had some of their words in their DN?

As long as they're able to meet the trademark office's requirements, why not?
Of course, that's assuming they ain't faking their application.

For the most part, a party files a trademark application to further protect their
intellectual property rights. More so if that intellectual property is responsible
for their commercial success to begin with.

A domain name bearing a term used as a trademark can see its use limited.
