Looking For Radio NamePros Hosts

We have gotten the ball rolling on the Radio NamePros project!!! We are very excited. We still need a couple more Hosts for the shows. If you have the time and think that you would like to be involved in this please respond to this thread or PM Morphmaster.

Also if you have some ideas for shows let us know!

Ive got some questions...

What are the responsibilities?

What equipment is needed?

What types of shows?

At this time the responsibilities of the hosts are the run the show, interviews, discuss topics of interest etc. As far as equipment needed the hosts will need a microphone for sure. If they are going to be interviewing over the phone, we will be purchasing some software for that purpose. Once the show has been recorded it is then sent to the Technical Editor and they will be combining it with the other shows and making the whole thing run smoothly.

Shows to be done are mostly up to the hosts at this point, but should be run past Morphmaster to ensure that we do not have two hosts doing the same show :hehe: We are looking at about 30 min per show.

I'm very interested in this, I'm just going to think of some ideas first though. I usually come up with some good ones. Is there anymore room? Also what are you looking for, like just talking the whole time or....

That would no doubtedly be really interesting Bill! With Afternic being such a large company, I am sure they could contribute a lot to a short radio program here at NamePros...

I've got a good mic and would be happy to do some interviews, maybe of some teenage domainers like myself?

I could propably record the calls using Skype or I would need the software I assume i would be provided.

I want to volunteer as well, as with my technical writing skills, i could produce scripts for the actual hosts and the members to read over the air and I can change my voices like in a puppetry..

also i want to know how much bandwidth does the flashchat takes up i would like to volunteer some of my bandwidth as a flashchat backup for the namepros radio i already have the flashchat script licensed to be installed on nabaza.com/flashchat/

or much better you could transfer a separate domain dedicated for namepros radio chat or whatever ...

Young domainers
Comedy show etc for example STAGED pranks to godaddy paypal gags whatever.

Just a few ideas.
