Looking for program to edit .PSD

I'm looking for a program to edit .PSD files without buying PaintShop. Does anyone know of any?

Try http://gimp.org/]The Gimp.

It has some trouble with layer masking but you can still edit the text and such. Plus it's free, which is always nice

gimp is the best free graphics editor, but are you sure it can work with PSD's?
