Hello,
I am looking for business partners on various ebusinesses I am starting up. The first one is a trade publication for the retail industry called MassMerchandiser.com. The other is an online marketplace call Thriftster.com.
MassMerchandiser.com will be an online publication and email newsletter targeting buyers at larger mass market retailers. Revenue model will be primarily advertising based as well as making use of integrated advertising from suppliers wishing to get their product in front of our subscribed audience. The audience we are targeting is a tough to reach audience but very valuable to suppliers wishing to pitch them.
Thriftster.com is a new marketplace and community where individuals can buy and sell all kinds of merchandise in multiple listing formats. There is a small initial fee charged to the seller to open an account then all other fees are paid by the buyer. Fees will not be higher then 5% on any sale. Payments will be made directly to Thriftster by the buyer and electronically deposited into the sellers bank account via ACH upon receipt of the product by the seller. Thriftster.com will be a more affordable, adaptive, and safer marketplace for individuals to buy and sell merchandise and other services online.
Much still remains to be flushed out in these models but they are open for anyone to particpate in them. Visit www.osbusiness.biz and sign-up if interested.
If you are curious about osbusiness.biz read below:
osBusiness.biz is a portfolio of start-up e-businesses and micro-businesses that are structured to be managed in a online collaborative environment similar to the open source concept in software development.
osBusiness model will initially be marketed to college students seeking internships for course credit or real world experience. Students will also earn equity in the business that they run and if successful could have a very profitable business waiting for them when they graduate.
There are 3 ways to participate:
1. Founder โ Add your own venture to osBusiness.
2. Sponsor โ Sponsor a business venture by providing start-up expenses.
3. Contributor โ Join an existing venture or ventures and earn equity.
Please note: You do not have to be in college to participate. This was part of the original model. If you are interested in helping grow osBusiness.biz please let me know.
Thank you
