I'm looking for an investor for an online/offline venture. I have came up with as of now 10 plans to build products. These products are everyday products that can be bought at retail store just about anywhere but If you build them yourself you can save money. On some of these products can save up to $20 or more by building them yourself.
Now my idea is to make "How to videos" (DIY Videos). Some of them would be free and would be placed on video site like youtube but Rest would be sold for reasonable price based of the savings you would get by making the product yourself. Also would have ready to assemble kits for sale on ebay if they decide they do not want to do all the work.
The venture capital I'm seeking would come in stages and no stage would be a very large sum of money. The large's would be for the advertising stage.
Start up, or "Stage One" would be some where in the range of $1,500 - 2,000. To buy the raw materials to take my concepts from plans to real products. I have added improvements to some of these products to make them more attractive to potential buyers. Might even be somethings that could be patented down the road if the investor is familiar with this process.
For the partnership arrangement and I'm thinking of a sliding scale of profit sharing. I'm thinking 20/80 for the profits from the videos and I would take a piece rate to make and ship the kits sold on ebay. These details can be work out. We would also have other revenue streams coming from the websites.
Right now with the way the economy is everyone is looking to save money. So I think people would buy DIY videos and DIY is still a big fad in the U.S. right now. I have couple products that would be family friendly. Projects a father could do with his kids not many hand tools needed. This would be on free video we would use to promote are other videos.
If anyone is interested this would be a great opportunity on a nice long term money making venture for a reasonable investment. Lets be realistic now this opportunity will never make us millionaires but I think in time, not much time we could be making a decent extra monthly income. On your side it would be a passive monthly income. If you want it to be. You can be as involved as you want to be. I work well with other LOL.
