Have you ever considered a wiki software.

But if you need something like Squidoo.com then I'd recommend getting a custom-made script.

How about a multi-user blogging system.
Like WordPress MU which allows users to create their own blogs (diaries).

Looks like it's a social networking site (like MySpace...).
Anyway, I think your best bet is a custom-made script or hack an existing one.
