I have a small project and chat script where I would like to add the birthday option during the sign up process.
Here is what I need you to do:
1. Add to the admin panel options to check Teens Only & Adults Only for the room being created. Currently there is an option for guest viewing privileges. You can add these two options right below it. Please be sure that if guess is checked with one of these two options they can only see the room but not enter since you cannot verify a guest's age.
2. Teens Only rooms need to be for people 20 & Under.
3. Adult Only rooms need to be for people 21 & up.
4. Add age to the registration page. I would like a drop down bar of the month, day, and year.
5. Finally, the script needs to check their age if they are trying to enter a room that is set for teens or adults. It should also compare their bday's to today's date. Example, if they reg'd two years ago as 19 but they had a bday yesterday, then it should realize they are now 21 and let them in adult rooms and not the teens room.
That is basically what I need. Should not be a hard job for the right guy nor cost an arm and a leg. I know enough about PHP to be dangerous but just can't figure out what I am doing wrong. LOL I will be able to provide a clean slate of the script to you so that you can integrate it for me.
