Looking for a German book about domains and the market

I have a friend that is new in the field and doesn't have much knowledge yet which he would like to change. Therefore, I'm looking for a good German book about the world of domains and domainers! The book should explain all the basics that are important in that field. There are probably not as many books with that subject published, but if you have any suggestions Please let me know.

Online I found 2 books so far that cover that subject: "Handbuch Domain-Name" and "Ratgeber Domain-Namen" ..any opinions on those two??

I suppose the best place to learn something about domain names are forums.
I'm sure that would be possible to find some forums in German as well.

I can highly recommend "The Domain Game" by David Kesmodel, but it's more of a historical account of big domainers from the 90s than a how-to guide. It's also in English, but I read it last month and it was excellent.

There was another domain book I stumbled across and ordered on Amazon, but it only covered very basic information that I already knew. There are some German forums - Consultdomain.de is one of them.

yes consultdomain is probably his best bet, tell your friend to not ask too many questions over there in case he doesn't like being ridiculed (have seen it happening many times over there with newbies), tell him to do more reading then posting - most questions are answered already, too much rudeness for my taste and the mods seem to keep a closed eye on their trouble maker friends...

alternatively Google translate and NP should work fairly well too

I think founder.de offers a good report about making money with domains.
Just look in the reports section.

I think it's around 30€ or so.
