I am a part-time graduate student and part-time economics forecaster/consultant. I'd like to get a reasonable domain to match my business. Something short (12 letters or less, hopefully), hopefully quite unique and professional sounding. I don't want the word "consulting" or "forecasting" in there, in case I branch out and try to sell the software I'm writing. On the other hand, words like "investment", "market", "technology", "trading" are all fine.

Responses in the form of PMs or forum posts are both fine. It's up to you.
Yes, I'm new here, sorry for the breach of etiquette.
I should have mentioned, ".com" only. Must be of the form "xxx.com".
As far as budget goes, that's tougher. I would not be surprised to find a good name for under $200 or $300. For a name that really really fits the business, is short, memorable, and has no potential trademark issues, etc., I could perhaps go as high as $1500 or so.
Anyone want to suggest anything in their inventory?
Thanks,
WN
