Look out Typo squatters - Domaintools new tool

Just saw this on Domaintools blog - It says - Domain Typo Generator but it looks more like a typo squatter finder to me, what do you rekon ?


I only have a couple of generic typos so I'm not that fussed but it sure makes it very easy for companies to catch typo squatters.... so lookout if thats you !


How do you see it Good, Bad or other ?

I think that's a great tool to help organizations locate domains of interest to them and/or their trademarks. This tool could also boost the business of companies like Domains By Proxy, due to domain owners wanting their privacy.

Good. Helps those people who want to find typos and also punishes those who do it illegally. Using the example you provided, it is those types of domains that give the industry a bad reputation.
