Logo needed

hey everyone.

I'm doing a web site for an old friend and his logo is, shall we say, a little tacky, to say the least and is in desperate need of modernising:

its got the right idea just the colours are really bad.

I'm pretty bad with photoshop so I was hoping someone here wouldn't mind earning a few $ for revamping the logo?

the theme has got to stay the same, but the colours and the general look of it needs updating.

its for an engineering company near to where I live.

If anyone wants to do this, pm / email me with your rates and a brief example as to what you've done in the past!

If I can make a comment and hopefully not offend you, I would say your friend's logo is the least of his worries(in regards to his website). Appologies if I did offend anyone.
