Logo Contest - $20 - Easy & Simple Design

Hey guys... so I'm in the need of a logo for EssayConnect.com

I'm looking for a clean and relatively simple logo for the website. I don't really think I want the .com included in the logo, unless you can make it fit in a way that it looks good.

Logos that I'd like for you to draw from are Cliffsnotes (Cliffsnotes.com), Sparknotes (sparknotes.com).... and even something like Facebook. The background doesn't have to be white. The font can be white and the background can be blue, etc.. I'd like the logo to use blue at some level (the type of blue Facebook or Twitter uses).

Let me know if you have any questions! There may be a small bonus if I really like the winner's.. Payment will be over paypal. Contest closes in 10 days.

I like the font and colors you used, especially for "connect." Could you try playing around with the "essay" font? It looks a little rough or gritty (although that may be because its low res). I definitely like the black and light blue contrast, could you throw out a few more options just so i can see please.

I think I like the second set of designs the most... with essay written in a handwriting stye but not bolded. I also like it with the light blue. No recommendations I can really think of—feel free to play around with the fonts and colors though.

I sort of like the concept though that you used with the C and the O in connect. To get a better idea of the style I'd like, I posted a few examples in my original post.

VirginArt: I like your latest entry a lot more. Are you able to use a lighter shade of blue though? And if possible, a font that it is just a little less cursivy or italicized if that makes any sense. Otherwise, great!

Shery: I like your third version the most (white letters, with the creative o in connect). I also like the blue background with the white lettering... but if possible, could I see a few more color options for comparison?

gct: I think your earlier entries were the best—still definitely at the top of the list.

Levute: I don't think that's really what I'm looking for, I'm sorry.

As a last request (sorry I'm so picky), could you take that same version and slightly change the font to something less typewriter-esque? Otherwise I think it's great, and I like what you did with the "o."
