Hi everyone, time for todays feedback, thank you all for your entries and as usual please do not be offended by my feedback as just because i dont like the logo does not mean that it is crap but it is just not what i'm looking for:
170designs: Yeh i quite like this one. Another logo with the inclusion of a football, nice text and simple colors, which are all plus points. However i just do not feel it leaping of the page, i feel that i need something more charismatic.
truesnake: Not to keen on these. The first two are ok, i feel the text styling is quite good, however i do not like the coloring and the football looks like a planet in the solar system. As for the second two i feel that once again they are not leaping of the page at me, to simple a design and the football in the background i feel does not look good.
will7: Now i know i should like these, but for some reason i am not to keen. The first one i feel is dominated by footballs, this to me withdraws from the appeal of the logo. The second one i feel is an improvement, however i believe it is the figure that puts me off, looks very traditionalist (in other words not very modern). I feel that the text is adequate in both designs. I have noticed some of your other logos however in other competitions and i feel you can make a more appropriate submission with another attempt.
l0zo: I have really liked your logo's so far. I do not think the first two are an improvement on your original entry which is the third one i think, however i would place you in joint first place at this present time for the third logo. The only alteration i can suggest to the third logo removing the blur in the football, however am not sure if this will make it look better or not.
steadler: This i am undecided upon. I really like the figure with the orange background (although i do not think the orange will fit into my primarily blue site, possible alteration?), however am not keen on the colouring of the text. Would prefer maybe blue/grey etc.
One Armed Scissor: As you already know i do like your original submission. However i do not feel that no 1, 2 or 4 are improvements on this but i do like no.3, which is in the running. I also feel the addition of the .com is a significant improvement, i had never really put much thought to including it, but yes it is welcome.
elliothere: Not to keen on this one either. I like the "sliding" text, however i do not like the "tackle" fuzzy text, i dont feel it is appropriate for a football site. Please feel free to resubmit another entry.
I'm not sure if this advice is helping anyone, it is difficult to give a detailed description to all of you.
Further Info:
The inclusion of .com in the name is now imperative in all logos.
I cannot give anyone advice as i'm not a graphic designer, all i can tell you is what i do or don't like about your logo, this is obviously why i am paying you to do the work as you are all the creative brains behind the operation with the talent to back it up. So please dont ask for advice as it won't be given.
