What do yous think of this domain name. I was thinking of using it for a tour affiliate website or use it for a domain nae for a local tour app. The domain name is around around 5 years old. I personally love the domain name and excited to start developing it when i get time.

The only issue I had with the domain is that I think the .net only domains that will survive the gTLD's are tech related .net's ... so from your title I didn't think it was a good domain. However if you're going to use it for the home of an app then it becomes a bit more relevant to .net .. otherwise not so much I'm afraid to say ...

If you're going to develop it personally and be your own end user then that's great .. at that point the TLD really isn't all that relevant either way!

Career = The job industry in tech is still a huge market.
2L = potentially hundreds and likely thousands of tech company initials.

So with the exception of Coffee.net, those could all be used for tech companies .. and even Coffee is a super common short generic word that could be used as a brandable for an app or something. Plus it's "coffee" .. at $55k that's far below the standard 5-10% of .com that .net's are "supposed" to get.

Most importantly .. I'm not talking about 2015 or even 2016 ... I'm talking as gTLD's hit their public awareness critical mass (in the next 1-3 years is my guess) .. from that point forward the trend I feel would be for .com and ,cc's to remain strong, but for everything else to trend towards the gTLD context. Please note I'm saying "trend" .. .travel will not overshoot .net or .info overnight .. but they WILL feel a downwards pressure vs gTLD's more on context. Particularly for multiple-term keyword domains like "local tours" ..
