Estibot shows an Alexa of under 500k for this but when I go to Alexa it shows up as MyOwnEmail.com which has that ranking. Not sure what to make of that. This is worth a lot more if it gets traffic obviously, so any information anybody can dig up on that aspect I'd appreciate.

Other than the traffic, thoughts on the value of this as a generic .com?

Well when you buy it come back for an appraisal and we can then tell you if you got a bargain or got ripped off.

Its because Alexa sees them as one and the same site. Like Alibaba.cn and Alibaba.com they will merge the traffic stats into one. There is a place on alexa.com where you can inform them one of the domains is independent, go take a look. And if you win it, are you sure u get the site that comes with it?

Doesn't come with any site its an expired domain auction. I keep thinking about this domain and going back and forth, either its garbage or its worth $20k, I can't figure out which.

Local Bar could go one of two ways, a bar where you drink or a bar association. The second having a much higher value per visitor but also a much smaller audience. Not sure which people are searching for but there are a fair amount of searches for exactly 'local bar'.

There are over 50 bidders in the auction and its at a very high price for being so early in the auction - if its a xx,xxx domain I want to get in there and start bidding on it, so somebody please chime in with your opinion!
