Appraisal For: GuyThoughts.com
Domain Appraisal: GuyThoughts.com
Domain Availability Notes: Domain Availability Score is based on the concept of half the registration fee ($3) for every domain name past the major first three, those being ,.com,.net & .org & past the 'order' of yours in terms of the popularity of the TLD. TLD popularity is assessed by the amount of sites using the TLD. You can go on Google and type in site:.uk for example to see how many people have .uk domains. You may be surprised =). When lesser TLD's are registered it shows sincere interest usually in a domain name especially on those TLD's that cost a lot to renew, and so you can almost guarantee that the person who bought the lesser TLD would gladly pay 'at least' that much money to get access to the domain name you own in higher standing. Value here only makes a difference if the domain name is 'very popular' usually.

Sometimes .CN and .NAME incorrectly show as taken, but to be safe I'll assume $0 of value here as far as your TLD competition is concerned. It would appear you have a 'fresh' new name on the market.
Sales Comparables (DNSalePrice.Com): Comparing Against: GuyThoughts.com (2 words) (11 length)
Rules: Must have the same word count, length can be anything however, but words must be similar or related to domain in comparison. When not sure use a thesaurus or WordNet. Also the comparable domain must be in similar logical order (Ex. thoughtsguy.com would not count)
I looked very hard for sales comparables but could not find any unfortunately. That means that this domain type either does not sell or you are bringing a rather new concept to the table but I would rather suspect the latter.
Although this is just my opinon, I could be wrong the other posters on this thread seem to agree it is worth a lot =). I still have one more category to investigate though for you, so lets see what happens.
Speculative Value Range: $Reg Fee
Domain Effectiveness as Related to Keywords

Search Engine Used For Competition Results: Google.com
Note: Sometimes where a domain does not have obvious branding potential it may have traffic and search engine potential value which is very important these days. Value in this area is based on a variation of the 80/20 rule in which every 90 visits, there will be 10 serious customers, and 1 will purchase. Obviously this is being conservative, but it's good to be safe when making estimates rather then over estimating. Lets say you are selling an item that you make $5 profit on. That means every 100 visits = $5 minimum in theory. This is what we will base as the value for this category. Obviously this value is under-rated and it may be worth much more then what I predict depending on your profit margins and item selling (like if it has re-occuring payments or not), but this will give you a safe neutral perspective of it's value here.
Rules: Assumes that your page is on the front page of google in first organic position.
"guy thoughts" - 58 monthly searches/4,920 quoted competing results
"guys thoughts" - 170 monthly searches/28,000 quoted competing results
"guys thought" - 46 monthly searches/210,000 quoted competing results
While I found other combinations that had more or extra searches they had some very high competing values. Your keyword effectiveness index (KEI) for "guy thoughts" is (0.68) which is unfortunatly not good, you want 100 to be good to give you an idea of the difficulty here. KEI is the traffic squared divided by the competition and gives you an idea of how well that keyword would perform if you worked to optimize it and the difficulty and money you would have to put in to get it there.
In short, if you can get to the top you stand to only get 58 monthly searches and it would be very hard to get there and it's just not worth it. So I have to say I don't see any value here either.
Conclusion:
If there is value in this domain name it would be in the fresh idea and brandability and that should be the angle that you take this. IMHO I would rate this domain name low $XX - Reg FEE. I hope this was useful to you even if it was not the answer you were looking for.
