I've gotten two emails in the past week from people claiming to be a Chinese brokers.

They were looking for the following combinations:

NN.com
NNN.com
Nnnn.com
Nnnnn.com

Ln.com
Nl.com
NLN.com
Nlln.com
NNL.com

Its automated emails, you probably have one of those combination of domains in your portfolio, they scraped your whois, and they are looking to pick up cheap liquid domains and quick flip. Their business strategy seems to rely on finding a seller who is tight on cash.
