This domaining sector offers potentially larger returns than traditional revenue or traffic based domain names, however with this investment opportunity comes extravagant risk.

I'm in for it short term. This market still seems iffy to me. I'm just waiting for them to be worth $20-25+ then i'm probably out.
The only iffy part IMO is how long you'll have to wait to see $20 ... If it's longer than someone planning to do quick flips can stand (ie, not next week) - then quite possible to end up selling a bunch more than expected "to cover costs and get the rest for free"

(How do I know this? Don't ask ... suffice to say I've got some perspective from recent experience!)

Long term, (non-premium) LLLL.net might track CCC.net fairly closely (ie, $25 to $50 currently for most) - and the outlook for "all premium" LLLL.net seems to be based on 10% of the corresponding LLLL.com, so $40 and up for those, maybe (eventually) tapering off around $250 (for most of the top-grade ones, certainly not for the very best though) (and just guessing about all of this, of course, YMMV ...!) Seems like a decent ROI if you're willing to wait for it. For quick flips, maybe a better move to buy LLLL.com if/when prices take a breather (because a lot of people are spending their buy budgets on the "premium" LLLL.net buyout this week, so maybe less competition to scoop up a few LLLL.com for flipping next week etc.)

But what do I know ... I spent my own buy budget on LLLL.net (and still have to sell a few more LLLL.com, go figure! Not sure what I'm doing with this move, really - just flying by the seat of my pants, as always - rationalization after the fact might be that I wanted to balance long-term/short-term investment to optimize overall ROI blah blah blah but truth is there were a few LLLL.net I still wanted to get, and now is as good a time as any - next month might still be okay for reasonably-priced aftermarket buys though, so no hurry if just in it for a couple - I'm not doing the vacuum-cleaner gambit!)

For sure, but they still are going up in value compared to the past couple of months (auctions for dropping ones).

I am using some of my parking profits for them. Nice of park to pay every two weeks makes it easier to do this when you know in 4 days you get paid again

I think the Premiums are running out quickly today. I just registered all available Premium LLLL.net that starts with the Letter "E".

the letters mentioned above are supposed to be bad but it depends on what the reseller or enduser sees in it if it is bad letters

I registered an ugly 4 letter dot com with all of the above letters ugly ugly ugly if you ask me but have a deal worked out on it for mid X,XXX to an enduser

initals of a name of a company XXX XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX

OK, so once we all buy these .net's, what do we do with them?
sell them to each other at ever increasing prices until new folks come into the market wondering what all the excitement is about! Isn't that the way it usually goes?

J/K! (mostly ...)

The idea with "premium" LLLL.net values (as has been stated in more detail many times already) is that they may be attractive as a less expensive alternative to (or also wanted for a package deal with) the corresponding LLLL.com ... so may find end-user interest due to price - and reseller interest due to potential end-user interest.

I don't think they're going to suddenly jump to $20+ next week though. I certainly won't mind being wrong about this - but seems more prudent to plan on holding these at least 3 months or longer if looking for a respectable (ie 300%) ROI ...

I feel its safe to at least expect a jump to $10-$12 once the last 3000 premiums are gone...would you say thats a fair bet??

I`d call that scenario a big failure.

Im talking bare minimum monday morning, or whenever they are all gone...or is that when you are already expecting your $40-$50 each for this to be a success?
