but the problem is when i looked it up on whois , it says :

Domain Status: clientTransferProhibited
Domain Status: clientUpdateProhibited
Domain Status: clientRenewProhibited
Domain Status: clientDeleteProhibited

is it normal ? or there's a problem with it
and how much can i resell it on average , randomly 4 Letters

What if the owner did not want to sell?

Put yourself in the owner's shoe, why would one sell the name to you, so you can resell it to make a quick buck?

Its normal it just means its locked, the Registrar will unlock it so he can transfer it. Firstly I would never pay before I have it in my account, secondly how would you know how much to pay for it if you don't know how much you can resell it for? If I were to guess the worst value 4 letters .com would probably run around 290-310. I may be off by a bit. If it does not contain AEIOU or v it can be worth as much as 2000 plus. Other members may be able to help you more.

What is your background in regards to domains, where do you come up with investing in 4L.com's?

That is just standard text, stating the domain is locked, and not in a transfer status at the moment, means nothing.

You can buy vowel filled 4L.com's for $325, and probably resell them for $350 minus 20% commission.
