I am listing my LLL.us on eBay and have done some research to figure out the average pricing on LLL.us.
The domains that I am listing are:

AKC.us Godaddy 4/07
CJP.us Godaddy 4/07
DFK.us Wild West Domains 8/07
DMY.us Wild West Domains 7/07
IBY.us Wild West Domains 8/07
JPW.us Wild West Domains 8/07
QTN.us Wild West Domains 7/07
NXT.us Wild West Domains 7/07
SRT.us Godaddy 4/07

I was wanting a starting point for bidding so I thought it a good idea to come up with a current average through recent sales. I am thinking about starting off with a minimum bid of $2000.00.

Here is the auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/Three-Letter-Hi...QcategoryZ11153QQtcZphotoQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

What do you think?

If so can you please update this list.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
The eBay page or feature you are attempting to access is not responding.
BTW, the prices you list is end-user sales.
Individually you need to find the right user to pay for that much. Selling them as a package with $2000 aka $200 each probably will only end up no bids because only the resellers are going to buy in a bulk and starting price need to be set as a little above reselling price (based on your names, $50+).

You most likely will be wasting your money on the ebay listing fee. Even though those are great LLL.us domains, I highly doubt you will find a buyer/bidder on ebay.

Yea... 9 .US's like the ones you have will be best sold seperatly. SRT.us and NXT.us are very good domains. I think AKC.us is also a potential high XXX.

It's also not going to help your cause when you only have 1, 66.7% feedback rating.

i would definatly sell them individually,And not on ebay,You have some very nice LLL Dot US names there,I would hold onto them for a bit longer.Just my opinion.

I didn't even realize that my feedback was that low.
I just put in a complaint to eBay.

I purchased an item and the guy did not deliver, so I had to get a refund via paypal and left him neg feedback, he in turn, left me neg feedback... :td:

Ebay won't do anything for you. Their customer service is non-existence and they will only take off a comment if it is inflammator (racists, bad language, etc.). Best of luck, nonetheless.

Ebay, IMHO, is not really the place for good domains outside of .com's right now unless you have an established and trusted following there. I think you're best off sitting on the names for now and waiting for those Afternic/Sedo sales to come along. 3 letter .us names will only appreciate in value as time goes on.

:) Then bid on them...

Seek out end-users! You have some big winners there. You won't get any bites on eBay with that price.

Take out JEW.us and then lets see the average plummet.

It doesn't even matter. They're all end-user sales. Search completed LLL.us sales on eBay, you'll then see the average wholesale price.

If they do not sell on ebay,I would be interested in a couple of them individually.

I know what neg rep is like. Look at my TR from 6 months ago. (Look at the last week too, not 1 negative TR, but LOADS of positive TR.)

Pre-judging someone like that is unfair. This is not his fault. Mine was my fault, and i accept that, but i have learned my lesson. That will never happen if nobody buys or sells from that person.

Sorry but i think you are wrong,

Robert

things are slowly changing for the better actually. 3 years ago, i would definitely agree with you, but things have improved some. My ebay account was shut down because someone illegally tried to sell something using my acct, but i got on the ebay chat thing with their tech people, and within 20 mins i discussed the problem with a rep, and 5 mins later, my acct was up and running again. Use that chat thing. thats the help thats around that seems to work.

If your starting bid was $450, or even $540 ($50 or $60 per domain), you might get a bite. If you sell these at $2k+ I'll eat my hat!

:'(

Ok, dropped the starting bid down to $1200, but I can't go any lower. If you knew my situation, you would know that I don't really want to sell these names because I know they will be worth alot in the future.

Apparently someone feels there is value there because I have so far, four watchers and thirty six views of my auction.

I know airwav is a class act, however, other prospective purchasers may not know her. Feedback scores are sometimes all a bidder has to go on.

$1200 might tempt someone ... though in the end, if they don't sell, you'd be better listing them individually to tempt some end users that like one.

Thanks!

BTW there must be a lot of lookers from this thread, I now have 8 watchers... :sold:

Just got this reply from eBay regarding my feedback:

"Dear wifivoice,

Thank you for writing eBay in regard to feedback you received.

In some cases, we can remove Feedback, but only if the comment meets the
requirements for removal under our Feedback Abuse, Withdrawal & Removal
policy. We've reviewed the Feedback that you asked about and determined
that it doesn't meet the removal requirement as outlined in the policy."

This is really bad. I paid for the item, it did not ship within 10 days, I requested a refund and he would not refund, so I had to open a dispute with PayPal to get my money back, and I get bad feedback.

The tough part about ebay--retailitory negative feedback. I'm just lucky that the time it happened to me, the guy called me a "fa&&ot" and ebay was able to remove it because it was offensive.

Well rocca, one thing you have to remember is that LLL.us names were selling not 6 months to a year ago for about $30 a pop. Some of the better combinations that were not words were pulling $45-$50. However, we've had almost an explosion lately and they've become that much more popular so quickly.
