.tc domains are problematic in that you can only develop them, not flip them; I don't think you can transfer them, either. Also, you have to renew them more than 30 days before they expire. If you forget, your access to your panel will be shut off and your domain will resolve to GD's (or registrar's parking page). Then you have to call your registrar, and then they have to renew your domain by hand, which can take anywhere from a few days to a week. Another thing, you can renew only for a year at a time.

I know all this from hard experience.

I have one and I can't even change the Whois info. I had two other ones, but I let them expire.

The renewals are expensive ($35.00 at GD).

The only reason I keep mine is because it's my first name; if I ever get my name in another TLD, I'll be dropping this dog like a hot rock.

I would say develop yours; it's a great keyword, but the TLD pretty much kills the resale value.
