go to NameBio.com choose "pattern" and enter "ll" in search box- that'll give you a fairly good impression on what are ll.cctlds worth

Speaking about less known ccTLD's, I think that the price mostly depends on reg/renewal fees. Low quality LL.ccTLD should go in MID HIGH XX range.

I own three LL.cctlds:
BU.lv
ED.lv
NT.lv- this one recently got a $60 offer, which I turned down

I own several in .LA and .VC. Renewals are $30 - $35 at Dotster. The Registry has put premium prices on the remaining LL.LAs so they are no longer available to register at reg fee.

These domains cause more worry than anything else in my portfolio. The reason is the renewal fees - four times the cost of a .Com (and that is less than most LLs), with liquidity only at low prices. Yet they LOOK valuable, very valuable. Looks are important in domains.

There are only a tiny number of LLs available per extension and most extensions do not offer them at all. While additional extensions will surely soon offer them, in most cases they will have giant price tags, adding to the "look" of value. The upcoming highly publicized release of LL.coms, to be auctioned at what are likely to be huge prices, could energize the sector. But for now a LL.CC with a reseller value of $$ or low $$$ is a domainer's trophy, nothing more. If you want one check out Dotster, I suspect there are some .VC and .HN available cheaply and probably others.

Note that most registrars' software cannot handle LLs and CPanel needs a plug in before you can host one. This is surely a neglected sector, until the release of LL.coms.

For exotic extensions: reg fee usually.
Developed ccTLDs: often in the $$$$ range. For example I sold a couple LL.be in the low $$$$ range.

Hello all,

What is the resell price of LL short domain in a non-famous extension like .gd or any other?

thanks

It's kind of hard to know what the resell price of a unpopular tld is as I don't think anyone keeps track of it, maybe you can check out past domain sales for the tld in question and gauge what the resell price might be.

There are too many LL.obscureCCtld domains still available for it to be much above reg fee unless of course you find that perfect enduser! :)

Yeah, tons of available ll.cctld but if you notice, none of the good acronyms.

Here are some past sales:
lu.is $180
jm.be $695
ca.mu $300
qq.bz $588
ss.vc $541
ss.gd $544
ss.nu $1,190
ss.vg $795
de.gy $850
xx.md $405
de.ht $1,800
cr.am $900
my.tl $924
us.st $1,050
uk.st $1,170
tv.st $807
io.nu $283
ei.nu $1,967
wy.nu $267
mg.nu $1,967
hn.nu $267
co.nu $16,111
cp.nu $267
wu.nu $283
de.cr $3,998
qu.bz $620

I have a few ll.gd - $30 renewal approx, wouldn't sell them below $5xx each.

I have only a few left: the 2character .ccs are worth decent money.

I have 78 and 87.com.au respectively. Should fetch good money.

True it's not a ccTLD but they are part of the TLD hierarchy. .biz and other three+ character extensions are classified as gTLD's and are unsponsored. On the other hand extensions like .info .mobi .jobs etc are sTLD's as these types have private sponsorship guiding them.

regarding LL.ccTLD's though its still to early and as BD point out there's still to may available to hand reg.

In order to be even considered an asset on the resellers market all LL ccTLD from its given country need to be reged and at the same time desirable.

Some countries ccTLD's are just more dominant in the marketplace and others obscure. Take a look at the following which one would you prefer a LL.de or LL.gd? think about it.
