Had livingcomputer.com for around 12 years with no inquiries. Then sold it last week to the first and only inquiry for $4,000

4k for 12 years that's 2.8k assuming that 12 years ago renewal fees where as cheap as they are today though
Not saying that at the end of the day, your investment didn't pay off , which it clearly did. But I wouldn't wait for so many years if I didn't have any inquiry even
Congrats Jimmy.
Now it was a good domain and holding good domains definitely pays off someday, holding bad domains thinking that we are being patient and it will pay off someday, will only cause loss of money through renewal fees. I googled "Living Computer" and the first and obvious potential buyer was livingcomputermuseum.org (The domain was registered in 2008). These guys are the buyers. If you would've tried contacting them then it might've resulted in this sale few years ago. Not a big deal for everybody but it does make a difference. I am sure I can find more potential buyers for LivingComputer.com through a little research. Good sale.
Well done, where was it parked? Or simply a "for sale" landing page?
That is what most domainers are not told. Some of these things are held for years before a sale is made. Great post!there's hope for us all
