Some people found my post on how to get a free @msn.com address helpful (http://www.namepros.com/free-resources/291460-free-msn-email-address.html?highlight=msn) so i thought I would post this.
Microsoft/Hotmail/Windows Live Mail have yet to release @live addresses the public however a handy little trick enabling you to register one has become available (again).
These things are fixed fast by Microsoft so grab it while you can! (Note: contrary to what they said last time, @live emails will not be taken away from you)
1. Run over to http://get.live.com/mail/overview and click "sign up"
2. Copy the URL from the address bar, for example in the UK (note the @live extensions depend on your region) the url is:
Remove hm from hmnewuser.aspx (so it becomes "newuser.aspx" and remove &hm=1.
Hit enter or the go button and you will be taken to a new page where you can sign up with your desired @live email!
Hope you find this helpful! A good way to get your @live address secured before the rush!
