Are the live auctions going to be on Fridays now, or is this just a temporary thing, and they will be switched back to Wednesdays???

The next two auctions will be held on a Friday. Beyond that is still up in the air.

last week the auctioning of places extended to 20 minutes before the start of the auction and I thought that added a little auction day frisson to the proceedings....

It was planned in advance to close 20 minutes prior to auction time and it did close right on time. I set it to 20 minutes prior to accomodate the people that were used to the old queue that opened 30 minutes before the event (and closed 30 seconds later).

Just trying something new with the queue style to try to make it a little less hectic to get a spot. Most comments I've got so far are positive.

er... maybe I shouldn't have used the word 'extended' which may have implied 'unplanned'...extended in the intended context was with reference to making (better word?) the auctioning of places continue into the day of the auction itself...my original comment was I thought a compliment! oh dear....
