We're planning the next NamePros Live Chat Meet and Domain Auction for THIS Wednesday, May 26th at 6PM EST / 3PM PST / 11PM GMT

You will be able to come and bid on domain names starting at only 1 NP$. We'll also have trivia and domain name giveaways, so hope everyone can make it!

What about daylight saving time? EDT is only 4 HOURS behind GMT...

Sorry... pet peeve... but if you meant 6PM EDT, then it's 10PM GMT. If you MEAN 6PM EST, then those in EDT (most of those in the eastern time zone) is at 7PM EDT

The domain auction starts in aproximately 80 minutes from now, when the clock turns 6PM in New York City, or 3PM in San Francisco.

Event will run for around 90 minutes. My apologies for any confusion with time zone designations.

It will be at universal time Wednesday, May 26, 2004, at 22:00:00 UTC time

I may be wrong here but...me thinks that some people are using EST as an abbreviation for eastern.

I try to avoid any confusion by just staying away from abbreviations.

I just get rid of the middle initial - as in ET

but then people still assume EDT is GMT-5.. but it's GMT-4...

Had a great time, picked up several great bargain domains, and even got outSnipered far more than I had anticipated, unfortunately. :blink:
I don't know if we broke any records for either attendance or total NP$'s transacted, but it sure felt like it. Man, great times!
I'll follow-up with either/both NP$'s/PM's tom'w after I catch some Zzzzz's here .... been a crwazy, hectic day. I'll be good to go with my Buyer/Seller's to complete ALL transactions tom'w, no worries in the world.
Thanks again everyone ... and I'm sure we'll see you again LIVE at the next "Big Show" in June.
