Cjjba.com: The "Combat Ju-Jitsu Budo Academy" is a martial arts club founded in Peterborough, England. It teaches a wide variety of different techniques in hard and soft styles, and gives the opportunity for members to compete in both semi and full contact bouts.

Nice. I train BJJ and striking. Mostly no gi submission grappling.

This is for those who are not so experienced.
Just my opinion, but made up 5L words are the worst of all pattern words unless they are real words, or words that are already in use in multiple TLDs. Usually 6L words make better patterns. 5 L makes very weird sounding 2 syllable words, unless they end in g or y. And 6 L words makes equally better sounding 3 syllable words.

5 L is too long for acronyms like 3L or 4L and too short to make nice sounding brandable words. Not that there are not 5 letter words, but less, and the good ones are taken.

I keep seeing random 5L words being liquidated for no reason.

I have been searching good 5L pattern the in expired stream for months and either they go for 1000-2000 in Auctions or they get dropped. No middle ground

Last few 5L that I participated in Drop catch
Panet, Aveny, DrLee. All went above 1K

Of those that dropped, none will well. SAV will register about 50% lol

Ashle in King .

newest addition.

5L's have been majority of my income,
I live off domains. ( 2 yrs now )

I did get lucky on some randoms. but I now am veryyyy picky on what I reg.
you will spend more on poop than you make if not extremely selective.

acronym potential is not at all like 4L , you dont see 5 word companies around much at all.

Good luck all, and only reg poop for fun off your profits from quality.

I have the perfect acronym for one of my vocations:
Geographic Information Systems Resources Integrator(s)

GISRI / gisri dot com.

Perhaps one day, in a not so distant future, when I have sufficient resources, I will also setup a:
G I S Research Institute.

PS: the name also has my nickname Sri in there.

Around 4,000 sales this year out of almost 12 million available. At that rate it will take around 3,000 years to sell them all.

In other words, if you have a 5-letter .com domain you have around a 1 in 3,000 chance of selling it in a year. And it's the good ones that sell. If you have a less than good name, then I'd suggest letting the name expire. Most 5-L domains are a total waste of money.

My tip of the day will save you guys a fortune. Seriously, Think about it.
Agree, we've already passed the 5L Chinese rush not so long ago when almost every random meaningless domain fitting the certain criteria has been registered - tons of money have been lost then I guess. As a lesson from that craze, a domain name should have some real potential use, not be just an item in some "combination possibility" list.
